This is the most important vidhi done in the name of grandparent for their souls to get free from this world and attain the highest state of liberation from this cycle of human birth and death.
Narayan Nagbali consists of two different rituals. Narayan Nagbali is done to get rid of patrimonial curse (pitru dosh /Pitru Shaap) while Nagbali is done to get rid of sin performed by killing snake, specially Cobra which is worshipped in India. It can be performed only at Srirangapatna.
Narayan Nagbali Pooja performed for problems like Business problems, Waste of Money, Family health issues, Educational hindrances, hurdles in getting married. It is also performed to get rid of problems occurred due to curse from father, mother, brother, corpse, wife and small churn-staff. (Pitru shaap, Pratashaap, Matrushaap, Bhatrushaap, patnishaap, matulshaap).
Narayan Nagbali Pooja is performed for 3 days. Narayan nagbali pooja can be performed by married couple, can perform this pooja to get rid of the above-mentioned problems and lead a better life.
- Narayan Nagbali Pooja is conduct in 1 day.
- Things required to perform the Narayan Nagbali pooja. For gents – 1 underwear, 1 vest, 1 napkin and 1 dhoti. For ladies – 1saree, 1blouse, 1petticoat and 1napkin.
- Above mentioned clothes should be new and should not be of black colour and green colour. After the Narayan Nagbali pooja is finished the clothes are supposed to be left at Srirangapatna only.
- According to mythological science and idol of snake of 1gm is required for pooja and is to donate to Pandit Sri Vara after the Narayan Nagbali pooja is done.
- Please book your Narayan Nagbali pooja date well in advance by providing your name, dates and mobile number to Pandit Sri Vara to avoid inconvenience.
- Devotees should reach Srirangapatna till 6 pm one day before the vidhi.

Narayana Bali Pooja
Narayan Bali Pooja is performed to appease Lord Narayan for an unnatural death of a human. This Pooja is to be performed in all cases of unnatural deaths, like death by animals, arson, curse, cholera, disease, suicide, snake bite etc.
Narayan Bali Pooja is conducted to fulfil and pacify the unsatisfied desires of the dead souls which are trapped in our world that stay with the soul even after death. To get rid of their own pain they trouble their own grandchildren’s. Lord Vishnu further states this in the Garuda Purana to Shree Garuda: – “Until the burial rites are properly performed the dead man, ever hungry, roams about day and night in the form of airy matter”.
